It’s a brand new year and this is huge for me. Writing down my commitment and sharing it! In doing so, I feel completely vulnerable – and accountable.
I wanted to share a light-hearted quote like this one I found at Junkroom Gypsy
So here goes…
My name is Julie Anglesey.
Starting today, I am devoting myself to the following projects:-
- Renovating Made Easy – blog, project management and mentoring.
- Listening to and trusting the universe (and myself). This year I will discover the world and myself through travel and share my experiences in my personal blog.
- Re-uniting my daughter with her son in a healthy, heart-warming and fulfilling manner.
I am devoting myself to these projects because I care about enhancing the lives of others and myself.
These projects deserve my full focus, attention, discipline and love.
Starting today, I am releasing the following habits from my life:-
- Fearing my journey into the unknown
- The desire to get everything done at once
(If you’d like help with your own list of limiting habits to give up next year, check out this post – 30 Things to Let Go of Before the New Year)
I am releasing these things because I need to create time and energy for creating a wonderful life.
These things no longer have a place in my life.
I believe that the world needs more peace, love, beauty and happiness and that’s what I am here to create.
I may not be able to do this on a grand scale but I can do my part to help.
The very next step is to relax.
And then after that, to commence beautiful, free-flowing action.
When things feel overwhelming, I will remind myself that my job is simply to be myself and follow my heart.
I have the power to leave the world, the people (and houses…lol) around me, in better condition than I found them.
I don’t have to “reach” for that power. I have it, right now.
Anybody can serve.
I am devoted. I am focussed. I am ready.
I know what I am here to do.
I am officially signing this agreement – with myself – on 31st December 2014.
Every word is true.
